Currency

Since 1 January 2002 the official currency is the EURO (€).

Electricity

Current is AC 220 volts 50 cycles; plugs are of the round 2-pin type.

Opening hours: Monday through Friday 9am to 3pm (some closing for an hour at lunchtime).

Cash points

The nearest one to the theatre is in the Wapper, 5 minutes’ walk from the Arenberg Theatre. Additional cash points may be found on the Eiermarkt (Boerentoren) and in the Pandstraat.

All major cards are accepted (Visa, and to a lesser extent American Express, Diners’ Club and Eurocard).

Opening hours: 9am to 12 noon and 2pm to 5 pm.

Tips, VAT, Taxes

In Belgium prices are quoted “all inclusive”. No additional tipping necessary but tips can be given if you want to reward exceptional service.
